A second heartbreaking tragedy has struck the Davidson family after Ayala Davidson A”H succumbed to her injuries at the hospital following a devastating crash on Highway 1 last Friday that claimed the life of her one-month-old son, Avinaom Z”L.

Her husband, Shlomo Zalman Davidson, who remains hospitalized, was informed of the tragic news after regaining consciousness in recent hours.

The family leaves behind five Yesomim.

As YWN reported, the family had been traveling to Yerushalayim for Shabbos together with baby Avinoam Meir z”l, after leaving their other children with grandparents in Bnei Brak. The infant was critically injured in the crash and later succumbed to his wounds, while both parents suffered serious injuries.

The driver transporting the family was also injured in the crash and remains hospitalized. His name for Tehillim is Avraham ben Zehava l’refuah sheleimah.
