IDF Strikes Hezbollah Terrorists Transferring Anti-Tank Missiles in Southern Lebanon Security Zone
JERUSALEM (VINnews)-IDF forces struck Hezbollah terrorists from the air Saturday after identifying them transferring anti-tank missiles within the Security Zone in southern Lebanon, the military said.
Soldiers observed the terrorists entering the area in a vehicle earlier in the day and unloading anti-tank missiles intended for attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians, according to the IDF. The weapons were moved into a nearby structure.
Additional Hezbollah operatives then transferred more weapons into the building and entered it, prompting the IDF to carry out an airstrike to neutralize the threat. Secondary explosions were observed following the strike, confirming the presence of armaments inside the structure.
The IDF said it will continue operating to eliminate any threats to its soldiers and Israeli civilians.
