Cedarhurst, New York (July 15) – The Major Case Squad reports the arrest of a Valley Stream man on Tuesday, July 14th, at 7:30 pm for a Burglary that occurred on Thursday, June 25th, 2026 in Cedarhurst.

According to detectives, an unknown subject entered Jildor Shoes, located at 473 Central Avenue and removed a large safe containing US currency before fleeing the scene. After conducting an extensive investigation, defendant Frank C******, 54, was located and placed under arrest without further incident.

Defendant Frank C***** is charged with Burglary 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
