Iranian reports say five bridges in southern Iran, an airport, a railway station, and Chabahar Port were struck. An observation tower at the port later collapsed, and at atleast seven people were reportedly killed.
The attacks aim to isolate the strategic coastal area in Bandar Abbas (Hormuz) and cut off logistical routes as a preparation for a future attack.
