TEL AVIV (VINnews)-One-third of the startups selected for Google’s Gemini Startup Forum: Cybersecurity are Israeli, organizers announced.

Of the 33 companies chosen, eight were fully developed in Israel and three more are currently led by Israeli entrepreneurs.

The selection highlights Israel’s standing as a global cybersecurity powerhouse, particularly in artificial intelligence-driven security. Approximately 25% of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange’s total market capitalization is invested in cybersecurity firms.

Participants in the forum will collaborate with Google’s top experts to develop new autonomous defense solutions. They will receive direct access to Google’s advanced AI infrastructure, language models and cloud tools, and will work closely with specialists from Google Cloud, Google DeepMind and Wiz to build systems capable of addressing complex threats.
