A Ukrainian source said Zelenskyy is planning to travel to the United States but was awaiting final confirmation from the White House regarding Trump’s schedule before finalizing the visit.

Representatives for the Ukrainian president did not immediately respond to requests for comment about the anticipated meeting.

Earlier Friday, conservative activist and Trump ally Laura Loomer said she had spoken directly with Zelenskyy, who indicated that he expected to be in the United States next week for meetings that would include talks with Trump.

In a post on X, Loomer also said Zelenskyy told her he plans to attend the funeral of the late South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who passed away earlier this month.

Graham was among the strongest supporters of Ukraine in the U.S. Senate. Since Russia’s invasion, he traveled to Ukraine 10 times, consistently advocating for increased American assistance to Kyiv while pressing for tougher sanctions against Moscow.
