A full commercial block along 13th Avenue between 48th and 49th Streets is now covered by sidewalk scaffolding, with all storefronts operating beneath the temporary structure as exterior work gets underway on the buildings. 

The scaffolding stretches the length of the block, creating a noticeably different look along one of Boro Park's busiest shopping corridors. While pedestrian access remains open and all businesses continue operating as usual, the sidewalk sheds now line the entire stretch in front of the stores. 

At this time, it is not yet clear what work is planned for the buildings or how extensive the upcoming construction will be. No official details have been announced regarding the scope or timeline of the project.
