NEW YORK (VINnews) — Following a series of social media posts by U.S. President Donald Trump, many of which featured AI-generated images mocking Iran, an Iranian state-affiliated news agency published a video titled “Where to Kill Melania,” which discusses ways to assassinate First Lady Melania Trump.
The threatening video was published by Mehr News Agency, which is affiliated with the Iranian regime. Although it concludes with a threat directed at Trump’s 20-year-old son, Barron Trump, the primary focus is on the First Lady. The narrator openly encourages supporters of the Islamic regime to assassinate her.
The video features footage of Melania Trump in various locations, including traveling in a presidential motorcade and walking around New York City. It also identifies luxury designer stores that she is said to frequent.
At the beginning of the video, it claims that “the information used in the video was obtained from anonymous security camera networks and satellite imagery.” It then displays two presidential motorcades, alleging that Melania is traveling in one while President Trump is traveling in the other, claiming that “Melania Trump’s security team operates independently from the President of the United States.”
The narrator also falsely claims that the U.S. Secret Service uses the codename “Muse” for Melania Trump instead of her widely reported codename.
“The obsession of Melania with fashion has become her greatest weakness,” the narrator says. “Melania has a special interest in luxury stores on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York, such as Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue. These locations may be suitable for freedom fighters’ operations.”
The video further claims there are “early indicators” that can reveal when Melania is expected to visit these stores, allowing potential attackers to prepare. It goes on to describe alleged Secret Service security procedures, including removing trash cans along travel routes, welding shut manhole covers, and coordinating emergency routes with nearby hospitals. It then suggests that individuals familiar with those hospitals or employed there could obtain information about her movements.
The video later lists several fashion brands where Melania reportedly shops online, including Saks, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, and Dior. It then proposes that “the strategy for online shopping operations is to go to the stores and poison the clothing.”
The narrator escalates the threat by stating: “To contaminate clothing, VX nerve agent can be used—a tasteless, odorless oily liquid that penetrates through the skin and kills within two to eighteen hours.”
The video also identifies individuals it claims are members of the First Lady’s styling team and suggests that “large sums of money may tempt these people.”
It concludes with a direct threat against the president’s son, stating: “This is only the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us!”
Melania Trump, Barron Trump, and other members of the Trump family are protected by the U.S. Secret Service, which also secures the White House, Trump Tower in New York, Trump’s golf club, and his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
Last week, billboards and posters appeared across Tehran calling for the deaths of President Trump and members of his family, with slogans including “Blood for blood.”
According to American media reports, Melania Trump has made relatively few public appearances this month and was absent from the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner over the weekend. A source close to her reportedly said the absence was due to a scheduling conflict.
President Trump has long acknowledged that Iran has threatened his life, saying he considers himself Tehran’s primary target, particularly following the killing of Iran’s former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. Earlier this month, reports said Trump switched from the new Air Force One aircraft gifted by Qatar to an older presidential aircraft while returning from the NATO summit in Turkey because of Iranian threats. He also recently told the New York Post that he had “left instructions” in the event Iran succeeded in assassinating him.
In a separate response to Trump’s recent social media posts, Mehr News Agency also released an AI-generated video featuring Lego-style characters. The clip shows an American Lego soldier crawling away from a crashed helicopter while suffering in the intense heat. An Iranian Lego soldier is then shown drinking tea alongside the caption: “Too hot for you, softy. Go back to your air conditioner.” Mehr added the caption: “Kharg Island is too hot for those of you who are not from the island. Go back to your own island.”
