WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday described a meeting with U.S. President Trump as “excellent” and one of the strongest conversations he has had with an American president, emphasizing full partnership and mutual support on key security issues.

“I have just finished an excellent meeting with President Trump. When I say excellent, it’s not just lip service,” Netanyahu said. “A conversation with full partnership, with mutual support, with an understanding of the common goal of ensuring that Iran will not have nuclear weapons, as well as other goals.”

He called the discussion “one of the best conversations I’ve ever had with a President of the United States, our friend Donald Trump.”

Netanyahu noted that senior officials from both sides attended, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas and coordinate on matters critical to Israel’s security and future.

The comments came after the leaders and their teams met to discuss shared strategic priorities, with Iran’s nuclear program highlighted as a central focus.
