A suspect accused of stealing high-value electronics and other merchandise from multiple Boro Park stores was arrested Wednesday after a dangerous pursuit that began in Boro Park and ended in Crown Heights.

The suspects were initially cornered near 13th Avenue and 53rd Street while attempting to evade NYPD officers and Shomrim. Despite being boxed in by multiple vehicles, the driver rammed several cars to escape, sending the vehicle speeding down 13th Avenue and creating a dangerous situation for pedestrians and motorists.

Shomrim quickly obtained the suspects’ license plate information and continued tracking the vehicle, coordinating closely with the NYPD. While officers followed from the ground, the NYPD Aviation Unit monitored the suspects’ movements from the air, helping direct responding units.

The pursuit came to an end in Crown Heights, where Crown Heights Shomrim located the vehicle. The suspects were then taken into custody by the NYPD.
