Massive IDF Sweep Nets Over 200 Terror Suspects Across Judea and Samaria
The IDF announced that its forces arrested more than 200 wanted terror suspects across Judea and Samaria over the past week, thwarted an imminent terrorist attack, confiscated weapons and explosives, and sealed the home of a terrorist ahead of its planned demolition.
Israeli troops carried out dozens of counterterrorism raids throughout Judea and Samaria as part of an intensified campaign targeting terrorist networks and their infrastructure.
According to the IDF, those taken into custody included suspects accused of inciting and promoting terrorism, operatives affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization, an individual who was allegedly preparing to carry out an imminent terrorist attack, suspects involved in smuggling illegal residents into Israel, illegal arms traffickers, and a wanted suspect connected to the production of explosive devices.
During the operations, security forces also seized dozens of weapon-manufacturing components, airsoft guns, hunting rifles, a handgun, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and tens of thousands of shekels that authorities said were earmarked for terrorist activity. Troops additionally located and dismantled five explosive devices.
The military also completed the mapping of the homes belonging to the two terrorists responsible for last weekend’s attack. One of the residences has already been sealed in preparation for its demolition, the IDF said.
