A 40-year-old woman was found dead inside a Boro Park apartment early Shabbos morning, and police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death.

According to the NYPD, officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 3:42 a.m. at 1644 64th Street, where they discovered the woman unconscious and unresponsive inside the residence. EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.

A neighboring resident told local media he heard loud music coming from the apartment until around 3 a.m., followed by repeated banging for about half an hour and another man screaming at the woman. The neighbor said he had previously complained to the building’s landlord about loud late-night gatherings at the apartment.

No arrests have been made, and additional information has not yet been released, as the investigation continues. Chevra Kadishe wasn't requested.
