According to an initial IDF probe, troops from the reserve brigade entered the structure around noon while working to demolish Hezbollah infrastructure. An explosion occurred as they entered, killing and injuring the soldiers.
The wounded troops were evacuated to a hospital, and their families were notified, the military said. Following the blast, the IDF conducted strikes on Hezbollah targets in the area.
