Tonight: Camp Ruach Chaim’s Siyum Hashas with Musical Entertainment

Aug 6, 2026·2 min read

Camp Ruach Chaim is set to celebrate a major milestone tonight as campers, staff, parents, and alumni gather for what organizers describe as a historic Siyum HaShas, capping off a summer that blended the excitement of camp with an extraordinary commitment to Torah learning.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Camp Ruach Chaim’s campus at 641, where hundreds are expected to participate in the celebration.

Throughout the summer, campers balanced a full schedule of sports, leagues, trips, competitions, music, and camp activities while dedicating themselves to daily Gemara learning. Organizers say the Siyum reflects the thousands of dapim learned by campers over the course of the season.

The evening will feature divrei Torah and words of chizuk from Rav Dovid Breslauer, with Rabbi Forchheimer also participating in the ma’amad.

Joining the celebration from Eretz Yisroel will be Rav Shia Atik, while the Siyum itself will be completed by Rav Berish Goldenberg.

Also expected to participate is Rav Motti Berkowitz.

Following the Siyum, campers, fathers, and alumni will celebrate with dancing accompanied by Shloimy Schinfeld and his band, featuring performances by Boruch Levine and Eli Marcus.

Organizers say the evening is intended to highlight the camp’s emphasis on integrating Torah learning into every aspect of the summer, with campers making time for Gemara between activities, before davening, and through chavrusas with fellow campers and family members.

The celebration is scheduled to begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. and will mark the culmination of a summer in which Camp Ruach Chaim sought to combine the spirit of camp with a shared achievement in Torah learning.

A livestream will be published when available.
