The New York Times reports that Yesterday, Marine One, carrying President Trump, came within 0.8 miles laterally and 700 feet vertically of an Envoy Air passenger jet near Reagan National Airport.
The FAA is investigating the incident, which officials say involved communication issues between the helicopter crew and air traffic controllers.
