More Than 200 Belzer Bochurim Arrive in Eretz Yisroel on Special Charter Flight for Elul Zman
In a unique initiative organized by Mosdos Belz in the United States, more than 200 Belzer bochurim from across America arrived in Eretz Yisroel this week aboard a dedicated charter flight as they prepared to begin Elul zman in the major Belzer yeshivos throughout the country.
The specially arranged flight was coordinated by Mosdos Belz in cooperation with Belzer travel agents across the United States. Organizers sought to create an atmosphere befitting bochurim traveling to Eretz Yisroel to begin a new zman, ensuring that every aspect of the journey reflected the values of the Belzer kehilla.
To preserve the appropriate environment, the bochurim were given a separate section at the airport. Observers noted their exemplary conduct throughout the trip, with many spending the flight immersed in learning, reviewing their studies, and preparing themselves spiritually for the upcoming Elul zman.
The project was led in partnership with Mr. Feivish Michalowitz of BNM Travel in Boro Park and Mr. Moshe Weber of Main Street Travel in Monsey. The aircraft’s entire economy cabin was reserved exclusively for the Belzer bochurim, who were accompanied by special representatives from Mosdos Belz.
According to organizers, the bochurim created a tremendous kiddush Hashem from the moment they left their homes until they arrived safely at their respective yeshivos in Eretz Yisroel. Emotional scenes unfolded at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport as parents bid farewell to their sons, many with tears in their eyes. At the airport, yungeleit assisted the bochurim through the passport and baggage checkpoints, while on board they were served by frum El Al flight attendants and representatives.
