Rav Yigal Rosen, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Or Yisroel, delivered a sobering message to bochurim regarding Israel’s ongoing draft crisis, saying that there is no natural solution in sight and urging them to prepare for the coming of Moshiach.

During the Bnei Yeshivos conference held at Kibbutz Chofetz Chaim, bochurim asked Rav Rosen about the future of the draft law and whether there was any realistic expectation that the current situation would eventually be resolved.

The rosh yeshiva responded with a clear and forceful message. “Under normal circumstances, there is no solution, and things will only get worse. Don’t let anyone tell you stories about some political move that will solve this problem. What you should do is prepare yourselves for the coming of Moshiach.”

His remarks made a powerful impression on those attending the conference and reflected the view held by many leading roshei yeshiva that the Torah world should not place its hopes in political developments or natural solutions. Instead, they emphasized strengthening limud haTorah, deepening emunah, and anticipating the coming of Moshiach with renewed faith and confidence.
