No Winner in Powerball Drawing; Jackpot Climbs to Estimated $905 Million
TALLAHASSEE (VINnews)-No one matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, pushing the jackpot to an estimated $905 million for Monday’s drawing.
The winning numbers were 5, 9, 35, 54 and 63, with a Powerball of 7. The Power Play multiplier was 3.
The previous jackpot of $856 million was the largest of the year and the eighth-largest in Powerball history. While no ticket claimed the grand prize, several players won substantial secondary prizes, according to the Powerball website.
One ticket sold in Texas matched all five white balls and included the Power Play option, winning $2 million. Four other tickets matched the five white numbers for $1 million each. Those tickets were sold in Arizona, Florida, Michigan and New York.
The new estimated $905 million jackpot will be available in the next drawing, set for Monday.
The most recent jackpot win occurred May 2, when two players in Florida and Texas split a $20 million prize.
