President Trump Endorses Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman for New York Governor
NASSAU COUNTY (VINnews)-President Trump on Thursday endorsed Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman in the race for New York governor, praising the Republican as a “FANTASTIC guy” who will win the November election and pledging his “Complete and Total Endorsement.”
In a statement, Trump said he looks forward to returning to New York, where the “Highly Respected and very popular” Blakeman is seeking the governorship.

“Bruce is MAGA all the way, and has been with me from the very beginning,” Trump said. He highlighted Blakeman’s work as county executive alongside ICE, Border Patrol and law enforcement to secure the border, stop migrant crime, safeguard communities and ensure law and order.
Trump said that as governor, Blakeman would continue fighting to grow the economy, cut taxes and regulations, promote Made in the U.S.A. products, champion American energy dominance, strengthen the military and veterans, advance election integrity and protect the Second Amendment.
“Bruce Blakeman is a FANTASTIC guy, will win the big November Election and, without hesitation, has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Governor of the ONCE GREAT STATE OF NEW YORK,” Trump wrote. “BRUCE WILL MAKE IT GREAT AGAIN, AND WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”
Blakeman, a Republican, is challenging Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul in the November general election. He was first elected Nassau County executive in 2021 and won reelection in 2025.
