New York City has begun work on a major redesign of Bay Parkway and Cropsey Avenue, adding dedicated bus lanes, new pedestrian islands, updated left-turn patterns, and loading and parking changes along the corridor. The project runs from Avenue J to Shore Parkway and is expected to improve service for roughly 35,000 daily riders on the B6, B82, X28 and X38 bus routes.
