The streets of Boro Park are filled with a palpable sense of excitement as the community prepares for a historic event: the first wedding celebrated by the Amshinover Rebbe of the United States since he assumed leadership of the Chassidus.
This evening, the Rebbe will lead his daughter to the chuppah, marking a significant milestone for his chassidim and the neighborhood alike.
The chassan is the son of Hagaon Rabbi Meir Yisrael Brandwein, a scion of the Stretin dynasty and son-in-law of the Drohobycher Rav.
This union brings together distinguished Rabbinic lineages, drawing guests from across the tri-state area and beyond to witness the joyful occasion.
For many local residents, this chasunah is particularly moving. Since the Rebbe moved to Boro Park to fill the void left by his father’s passing in 2020, his previous family celebrations were held in Eretz Yisrael. Now, for the first time, the "Amshinover Court" will host its own grand simcha in its home city.
The chasunah will be held at the Tiferes Rivka hall, and the simcha will continue throughout the week, culminating in a magnificent Shabbos Sheva Brachos where hundreds are expected to gather to share in the spiritual uplift and joy.
