London Police Deploy 100 Extra Officers to Protect Jewish Neighbourhoods Amid Surge in Antisemitic Attacks
London police announced today that 100 extra officers will now patrol and help protect Jewish neighborhoods after the recent surge in antisemitic attacks, including arsons and the stabbing of two Jewish men last week.

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley warned that Jewish communities are facing “sustained threats” from extremist groups, as police revealed more than 80 arrests had been made in recent weeks tied to antisemitic incidents and terror investigations.

British officials are also preparing new laws targeting Iran-linked groups accused of recruiting criminals online to attack Jewish and Israeli targets, with prosecutors warning: “If we allow this behavior to become normalized, then its seriousness will become diminished, and the problem of antisemitism will continue to grow.”
