For a limited time only, the Ink Unlimited Card is offering a signup bonus of $1,000 cash back in the form of 100,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards points for opening the card and spending $8,000 in 4 months. Those points are worth a minimum of $1,000 cash back, but they can be worth much more, as shown below. This is the highest public offer ever for this card!
This 100,000 point limited-time offer is also available on the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card.
The signup bonus is marketed as $1,000, but it will actually come in the form of 100,000 transferable points, which can be worth significantly more when points are transferred into miles with the help of someone in your household having a Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve®, Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, or Ink Business Preferred® Card.
After spending $8,000 anywhere, you will have 112,000 points, thanks to 100,000 bonus points and 12,000 points for the spending!

Some Chase cards are subject to 5/24 restrictions, meaning that you might not be approved if you have been approved for 5 or more consumer credit cards in the past 24 months. Enforcement of 5/24 has been patchy for the past year and the only way to know if you can get approved is by trying to apply.
Note that the Chase system automatically counts cards like authorized user cards and store cards as cards that count towards 5/24, but if you explain to Chase that those cards are merely authorized user cards or store cards they can manually approve you for a new card.
You can check your credit report for free at the federally authorized annualcreditreport.com to check how many accounts are shown as being open in the past 24 months.
It’s important to note that business cards from most banks, including Chase business cards, do not get added to your 5/24 count of recently opened cards. That’s because business cards from most banks don’t show up on your personal credit report, and the 5/24 count is based on your personal credit report. That means that applying for these cards won’t “hurt” your 5/24 count.
This is a business card, but you may already have a business that needs a card to keep track of expenses.
Chase has been getting stricter about business card approvals. One major factor they’re looking at is whether you are using your existing Chase business cards regularly. Consider closing unused Chase business cards and shifting spending onto Chase business cards to help your approval odds for a new business card.
You should shift spending onto newly opened cards and continue spending on the new card even after earning the bonus, to show the bank in the future that you’re not just opening the card for the signup bonus.
You can apply as a Sole Proprietor, though Chase has been getting stricter on approvals for sole proprietors, so for the highest approval odds, you’ll want to apply as an LLC.
Don’t have an LLC or tax ID number? You can open an LLC through your state or leave it to a company like LegalZoom to take care of everything for you for no fee on top of state filing fees with a basic plan. You can apply for a tax ID number here.
Having a Chase consumer checking account helps your consumer card approval odds, and having a Chase business checking account helps your business card approval odds. If you’re declined, you can also ask a banker to send in a special reconsideration form on your behalf.
If you don’t have an LLC and don’t want to open one, you can still apply for this card. For example, if your name is Joe Smith and you sell items online, or if you have any other side business and want a credit card to better keep track of business expenditures, you can open a business credit card for “Joe Smith” as the business. You don’t need to file any messy government paperwork to be allowed to do that. Just be sure to select “Sole Proprietorship” as the business type and just use your social security number in the Tax Identification Number field.
If you have business paperwork you can apply under your business name. Otherwise, it’s critical to just write your own name as the business name if you are just applying for your own small business as a Sole Proprietorship that doesn’t have any business paperwork. You can then send in bills in your own name for verification.
If you’re like me and you run more than one business, you can signup for multiple of the same card for each business to manage each business’s expenses separately.
Another benefit of the card not reporting on your personal credit report is that when you spend money on personal cards your credit score will be hurt even if you pay your bill on time. A whopping 30% of your credit score is based on credit utilization. You can pay off your card bill before your statement is generated to avoid that, but that takes effort and laying out money well before you have to. Additionally, it’s good to have the statement close with a couple dollars to show the card is active and being paid every month. On a business card from banks like AMEX and Chase, it’s just not reported, so you can wait until the money is due without it having a negative effect on your score. That also means if you close the card, it won’t have an effect on your credit score.
While carrying balances on consumer cards can have a very harmful effect on your credit score, because the Ink cards are business cards, those balances won’t hurt your credit score! That makes the 0% APR on purchases for 12 months on a business card a very strong offer.
Ink Unlimited Card is marketed as earning 1.5% cashback everywhere, but it actually earns 1.5 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent everywhere.
As each point can be worth 1.5-2 cents each, that means you’ll actually be earning an effective 2.25-3% back everywhere!
You can enroll here and earn 3 months of Instacart+ plus get $20 in monthly credits through 12/31/27.
You’ll need to spend $8,000 on this card within 4 months.
You can pay your federal taxes for a 1.85% fee.
My local natural gas company allows me to prepay up to $1,000 on a credit card for a $1.65 flat fee. That’s a great way to earn miles and help meet a spend threshold. My electricity supplier allows me to pay with a credit card for free as long as I am enrolled in autopay.
0% intro APR on purchases within 12 months of account opening, with no negative effect on personal credit. After that, reg_apr,reg_apr_type APR, based on your creditworthiness and other factors.
Potentially, that means you can stick your payments aside from the minimum payment into a high yield savings account and pay the card back after a year with no penalties or interest.
You can cash out your points for 1% cash back. I hope that you won’t do that.
If you or someone in your household has an Ink Preferred Card or Sapphire Preferred Card you can redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points earned from any card with Points Boost for bonus value up to 1.75 cents towards paid travel.
If you or someone in your household has a Sapphire Reserve or Sapphire Reserve for Business, you can use Points Boost for bonus value up to 2 or even 2.5 cents towards paid travel.
The Ink Cash card can’t transfer points directly into miles, but Chase allows you to transfer points to cards where they can be transferred into miles or redeemed for a greater value. My aim is to receive a value of 2 cents per point via transfers to miles and that makes the 2 point categories worth 4% back and the 5 point categories worth 10% back.
All Chase Ink cards are eligible for additional cash back via Visa Savings Edge.
If you or someone in your household has a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business, or Ink Preferred Card you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points into valuable airline and hotel mileage currencies.
You can call Chase to convert these cards or any of the following cards into another card from this list:
Note that some reps will only allow card conversions after you have had the card for 12 months.
Stacking multiple Ultimate Rewards cards together can supercharge your earnings by getting you more points per dollar while increasing the value of all your points.
A Chase Bifecta would consist of a household that has the Sapphire Preferred and the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card. The total effective annual fees would be just $95. With the Sapphire Preferred+Ink Unlimited you would earn 1.5 points per dollar everywhere, 2 points per dollar on all travel, 3 points per dollar on drugstores, 3 points per dollar on dining, streaming, and online grocery shopping, and 5 points per dollar on travel booked via Chase. You’ll be able to transfer all of your points into airline miles or hotel points.
If you earn 1.5-5 points per dollar and redeem at a value of 1.75 cents each, you’ll be earning between 2.625%-8.75% back!
A Chase Trifecta adds a no annual fee card like the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card or Chase Freedom Flex into the mix, so your total effective annual fee will still be $95. Both of those cards give options to earn a whopping 5 points per dollar in various categories on top of the up to 8 points per dollar that the Sapphire cards offer and the 1.5-5 points per dollar everywhere else with a Freedom, Ink Cash, or Ink Unlimited card.
A Chase Quadfecta would add both the Ink Cash and Chase Freedom Flex on top of a Sapphire card and an Unlimited card, so your total effective annual fee will still be just $95. The Quadfecta is the sweet spot and allows you to really supercharge your spending everywhere.
A Chase Quinfecta could add the Ink Business Preferred Card to that mix, adding $95 to the annual fee total. This will help you earn 3x points on $150,000 in annual spend on all travel, shipping, internet, cable, phone, social media advertising, and search engine advertising, and it offers free cell phone insurance.
Again, all of these cards don’t need to be in one person’s name. 2 people from the same household can split up the requisite cards that make up the Quinfecta, as they can transfer the Ultimate Rewards points back and forth between themselves freely and they can add each other as an authorized user on their cards!
If you have a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business, or Ink Preferred Card you can transfer points at a 1:1 ratio to:
If you have a Chase Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, Sapphire Reserve for Business, or Ink Preferred Card you can transfer points at a 1:1 ratio to:
The Ink Preferred Card and Sapphire Preferred cards allow you and anyone in your household to transfer Chase points into miles and earns a Points Boost redemption value up to 1.75 cents per point.
The Sapphire Reserve or Sapphire Reserve for Business also allows you and anyone in your household to transfer Chase points into miles and earns a Points Boost redemption value up to 2.5 cents per point.
The Points Boost value is excellent and can mean that a $500 hotel room will cost just 25K points or a $1,000 business class redemption will cost just 50K points. Or you can make your points potentially even more valuable by transferring them into airline miles or hotel points.
The Ink Unlimited is one of Chase’s best cards for everyday spending, as it earns 1.5 points per dollar everywhere, plus as it’s a business card, spending on the card won’t hurt your credit score.
The $1,000 signup bonus in the form of 100,000 points is truly an incredible and unprecedented bonus for a card with no annual fee. If you’re eligible for the bonus, you won’t want to miss out!
Will you signup for the Ink Unlimited Card?

Update, 7/9: You can order gift cards from these restaurants via Paze:
You need to email or contact the restaurants to receive the gift cards, as per the instructions on the menu. After ordering from the same restaurant multiple times, you may get locked out for a period of time. You can still try ordering from another restaurant, or you can wait a day or 2 and try again.
Update, 6/23: It appears that Paze Checkout is no longer an option for restaurant gift cards, but you can still order food from restaurants via Paze.
On Monday morning, DansDeals broke the news that you could use Paze Checkout for tons of free stuff, such as gift cards to dozens of 3rd party stores. We also confirmed with Paze that gift card purchases would qualify for the promotion.
Each eligible credit or debit card can be used 10 times for a $10 credit with each transaction, for a total of $100 cash back per eligible card. It will take up to 2 billing cycles for the credits to post to your account.
That promo stacked nicely with a 10 bonus points per dollar promotion from Chase when using Paze.
Newegg in particular was hit hard by the promos, with an avalanche of orders for $10 3rd party gift cards and their own $10 gift cards. Unsurprisingly, by Tuesday, those options were no longer eligible to be purchased with Paze. Paze explained to DansDeals why those purchases would no longer be eligible going forward, but that previous purchases would be honored. The 10 bonus points per dollar at Newegg was also modified to end after 6/29.
You can still use the offer to load your Dunkin account balance or to buy items from other stores that accept Paze. Thanks to having dozens of eligible cards, I’m the proud owner of thousands of dollars in gift cards, which will hopefully all be refunded as promised in the coming months.
Another option is ordering online from restaurants that use Clover, as Clover allows you to pay with Paze at checkout.
Read this post to learn all about paying with Paze and how to add cards to your Paze wallet.
Not many kosher restaurants are on Clover, but a few do. I don’t expect this to last long, so take advantage while you can!
And while checking out on Clover it does confirm the $10 off $10 offer, valid 10 times for each card that you have:
Luckily, you don’t need to pull out a bunch of $10 gift cards to pay at a restaurant. A nice feature about Clover is that you can pay for gift cards with gift cards to get one larger gift card. You can merge together multiple cards, or you can just use this strategy to buy them:
Alas, after buying about $80 or $90 of gift cards, the system started bugging out. I was able to buy another in an incognito window, but then got errors there too. I was able to buy another $80 in gift cards for another restaurant before that one gave errors as well. I was able to buy a couple more after waiting an hour. Reports are that the block should also reset after 24 hours or so, so just keep trying!
Here are some kosher restaurants that allow ordering Clover, though there are likely many more. Always confirm kosher certification before ordering. Restaurants offering gift cards are listed in bold. It’s surprising that so few offer gift cards, do they not want an interest-free loan?

Since 2019, Hyatt and American have had a partnership with a fast track for status and other perks for reciprocal elite benefits, earnings, and redemptions.
You can link your AA and Hyatt accounts here on AA.com or here on Hyatt.com.
I was able to get AA Executive Platinum status for many years thanks to having Hyatt Globalist status.
That partnership will soon conclude. Linking accounts will end on 11/15/26. Earning AA awards through Hyatt milestones will end 12/31/26. Earning Hyatt awards through Loyalty Point Rewards will end 2/28/27. There will apparently be no fast track for elite status offered this year either.
Hyatt will soon replace that partnership with Delta.
There will be elite reciprocity and dual earnings for elite members of either program. More information will be released in the coming months.
Hyatt also has a reciprocal elite benefit partnership with Air Canada.
With Marriott being tied to United, I wouldn’t be surprised to see American and Hilton work something out in the future as well.
Will you miss the AA-Hyatt partnership?

Schylling Original Super Nee Doh 4.5′′ Stress Ball For $10.99 From Amazon
This is a popular item that has been sold out at many stores.
Do not microwave these.

Update: One pain point of this promotion has been the daily card limits. But there is a setting you can change in Clover to remove that limitation!
1. Go to Settings and log in to your Clover account.
2. Scroll down to the Ecommerce section and select “Fraud tools”
3. Select Edit on “Transaction Amount and Velocity Limits”
4. Select from the pencil edit buttons on both the number of transactions on a single card and the number of transactions per IP. Increase both of those and your donors will no longer see any card limits!
Remind your donors that the charge date can be the day of or the day after the transaction. That means they should ideally finish all spending by midnight tonight!
You can view the Tefillin Connection live leaderboard and donate here.
Three days ago, Tefillin Connection couldn’t accept Paze, but in just a few days the organization raised $11,000+ in $10 donations from close to 300 people. The best part is that it didn’t cost the donors even one dollar.
Here is how you can do the same for your organization before the Paze promo ends this Thursday, 9/10:
Paze is running a spend $10, get $10 back promotion through 9/10. Every purchase of $10 or more paid with Paze checkout earns a $10 statement credit, up to 10 times per card, on every eligible card you own. That’s up to $100 per card.
The catch is, not many retailers or platforms accept Paze, but Clover does.
So if you open a Clover account, you can accept Paze payments right away.
Tefillin Connection even created a live leaderboard and giveaway page where you can watch the donations come in via this epic promo!
I called Clover sales at 877-685-6873 on behalf of Tefillin Connection, applied for an account with no hardware on the $9 per month plan, and was approved on that same phone call. You’ll need your EIN, your 501(c)(3) founding date, officer details, social, and more basic info, plus the bank account you want funds deposited into.
Online transactions run 3.5% plus 10 cents, so a $10 donation should net $9.55.
Once approved, you have to:
1. Log into the Clover dashboard and go to Account & Setup, then Ecommerce, then Payment links.
2. Create one link with a fixed $10 amount.
3. Create a second link that accepts any amount, for people who want to give more.
4. Under Account & Setup, Payment receipts, put your 501(c)(3) acknowledgment language into the receipt header and footer. Every donor automatically gets an emailed receipt.
5. Test with a real $10 donation and confirm the Paze button appears with the promo banner and that your receipts are working.
Then point a page on your site and let people know about it! The Tefillin Connection donation link is here if you want to see how it’s laid out.
Some important notes:
Clover tends to error out after about 6 payments in a row on the same card. Earlier donations still went through, and donors can switch cards and come back to the first card a day or two later. Tell them that up front so they don’t think your page is broken.
A brand-new merchant account that suddenly takes hundreds of small donations can trigger a risk review, so tell your rep what you’re expecting.
These donations may or may not be tax write-off eligible. So each donor will have to consult their accountant about that.
You can donate $10 with Paze to Tefillin Connection here, and please share this post with any organization that could use it!

“American Airlines is extending its suspension of operations to Tel Aviv, Israel (TLV) through March 28, 2027. We will proactively reach out to impacted customers of this schedule adjustment, offering options in line with our customer-friendly schedule change policy.”
Previous updates have been moved to the bottom of this post.
Originally posted on 2/28:
Good evening from Jerusalem, where we celebrated at a Bar Mitzvah yesterday and spent a surreal Shabbos with family, rejoicing over the news that Iran’s regime leadership had been eliminated, but also rushing in and out of safe rooms all day as Iran’s missiles and Israel’s defensive measures fought in the skies above us.
I shared some of our experiences today on our Instagram stories.
With G-d’s help, Israel and the US will help bring true peace to the Middle East and the world. We pray for the mission’s success and for everyone in harm’s way.
Israeli airspace is closed until at least noon (10am UTC) on Tuesday, 3/3.
Jordanian airspace is also closed, so for those who need to leave Israel now, traveling down to Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh/SSH is the best option. Airports in Abu Dhabi and Dubai have also been under Iranian attack, as have several other Middle Eastern countries, so the safest bet for now is to shelter in place.
If you are a foreigner in Israel, you can register each member of your party here with Chaim V’Chessed for a rescue flight out of the country. The more people who sign up for one, the more likely it is that evacuation flights will be prioritized.
El Al has paused flight sales through 3/21 to prioritize space for existing ticket holders.
Below is a roundup of more than 40 airlines’ flight status for Israel, including the next available flight for booking.

Update, 3/23: Many foreign carriers have extended their cancellation dates, including Air France, LOT, and more. Delta has officially cancelled flights through 5/31, and United has officially cancelled flights through 6/14. Cancellation dates have been updated below.
Arkia announced that due to the new rules, they will be moving most of their flights to Aqaba, Jordan, and Taba, Egypt. They will only offer very limited service from Tel Aviv to Athens and Larnaca. Their schedule for this week will be published shortly.
Israir announced they will only serve Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Tbilisi, and Addis Ababa. They will be cancelling existing reservations to other cities made through April 8th.
Air Haifa will continue operating from Tel Aviv, with flights to Athens and Larnaca.
El Al announced that they will only fly a small number of flights to New York, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Paris, Rome, and Athens. They are updating their schedule and will then notify affected passengers. El Al seat availability from Tel Aviv will be down 95% from normal.
El Al is also asking the Israeli government to reopen Eilat/ETM Airport to process more passengers in and out of the country.
“EL AL calls for the opening of Ramon Airport as a complementary alternative to Ben‑Gurion Airport, in order to maintain aviation activity and support the needs of the traveling public.”
Are you trying to fly from Israel to the US before Pesach? Will you travel via Egypt or Jordan due to the new restrictions?
Update, 3/22 at 6pm: The new restrictions are confirmed and will go into effect Monday at 5pm Israel time. The full protocol will be sent to airlines Monday morning, and airlines will begin cancelling people after that point.
Update, 3/22 at 3pm: After pressure from aviation officials to close Israeli airspace completely, Israeli media is reporting that the number of passengers allowed per flight from Tel Aviv will be reduced to just 50 passengers starting tomorrow. Additionally, the number of flight takeoffs per hour will be reduced from 2 per hour to 1 per hour starting tomorrow. Considering that widebody aircraft have required 2 slots this month, it’s unclear what this will mean for widebody flights.
Flights to Israel are not subject to any passenger cap, but will face significantly reduced flight landing slots. It may also be very difficult to find a flight from Israel if outbound caps remain in place.
Expect many flight reservations to be cancelled in the coming days.
Alternate options include flights from airports like Taba/TCP, Sharm/SSH, and Cairo/CAI in Egypt and Amman/AMM and Aqaba/AQJ in Jordan. Many of the pros and cons of these options and tips are discussed in this DDF Thread and on the DansDeals Facebook Group.
Note that in the past, some people have reported that religious articles (Talis, Tefillin, Seforim) have been confiscated when entering or leaving Jordan. Generally, this has been reported to happen when they are visible outside of baggage, so be sure all religious articles are packed away when entering and leaving Jordan or Egypt!
Update, 3/18 at 5pm: After 3 private planes were damaged by Iranian missiles at Ben Gurion Airport, Israel will no longer allow full flights to the US.
Effective immediately through at least Saturday evening, US flights are capped to 130 passengers per flight. El Al’s 787-9 Dreamliners have a capacity of 293 passengers, so that means many passengers will be receiving cancellation notices shortly.
Be sure to check your email, WhatsApp, and SMS for the latest updates on your reservation.
When Israel previously lowered the cap from 200 to 100, the airport scene was extremely chaotic. I’d expect that to be the case over the coming days as well.
El Al has shared the following update,
“Following a directive from the Home Front Command to reduce the number of passengers departing on flights to the United States by 50%, to approximately 130 passengers per flight, about half of the passengers currently booked on these flights are expected to receive cancellation notifications. We apologize for the inconvenience and recommend that customers who wish to depart as soon as possible consider alternative travel options.
Passengers whose flights are canceled will be eligible for a full refund or a voucher.
In addition, due to the new Home Front Command restrictions, EL AL is currently suspending the assignment of additional passengers to flights to the United States.
At the same time, no changes are currently expected to flights from the United States to Israel.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused and continue to work closely with the relevant authorities. EL AL is prepared to respond immediately to any changes in the Home Front Command guidelines in order to increase the number of flights and passengers.”
Are you still trying to get back to the US?
Update, 3/18 at 12:20pm:
Update, 3/17: Delta has stopped sales on Israel flights until 6/1, and United has stopped sales of Newark-Tel Aviv flights until 6/15 and other Tel Aviv flights until September. Expect official cancellations to follow in the coming days.
Update, 3/15: Israeli media is reporting that a tentative deal will allow all flights from Israel to the US to operate at full capacity starting tomorrow! Flights to Europe will be allowed to carry up to 170 passengers.
Currently, flights are capped at just 100 passengers, which has caused many foreigners to be unable to find a flight back home.
An El Al spokesperson said they are closely watching developments and will make an announcement once they are confirmed by the government to the airline.
In the meantime, El Al has closed sales of flights from Tel Aviv through April 15th.
HT: chff
Update, 3/13:
Update, 3/7: The US government has started offering evacuation flights to some people who have filled out the Crisis intake form and the Chaim V’Chessed form. These flights are free of charge and won’t be billed later on, as opposed to the rescue flights after the 10/7 massacre.
Update, 3/6: Air Haifa, Arkia, and Israir are now selling flights from Tel Aviv to Europe starting on Sunday, 3/8! You can book flights on their sites or from a travel agent.
El Al is assigning seats on the flight starting Sunday based on the order of previous cancellations.
Up to 70 people will be allowed per flight and flight operations will be limited.
Shabbat shalom from Jerusalem! With prayers for true peace very speedily.
-Dan
Update, 3/4:
Update, 3/2: Arkia, Bluebird, and TUS are now selling flights between Taba, Egypt, and destinations like Athens, Larnaca, and Rome through 3/7. More dates will be added if flights fill up.
El Al will not be offering flights to Taba.
Update, 3/1: Israeli airspace is closed until at least noon (10am UTC) on Friday, 3/6.
Arkia is selling flights between Taba, Egypt, and Athens, Larnaca, and Rome for travel in either direction over the next few days. If those flights sell out, expect more dates to be added.
Passengers arriving in Taba and crossing the border into Israel will find Egged buses outside the terminal to Eilat Central Bus Station, Be’er Sheva Central Bus Station, Ben Gurion Airport (long-term parking), and Tel Aviv Savidor Center.
Israel also announced that the Taba border crossing between Eilat and Taba will be open 24/7 to allow for people to enter and exit the country at all hours.
Have your travel plans been affected by the airspace closures?

Capital One has just launched a limited time offer for its Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card. The expiration date of this offer is unknown.
You will earn a $300 Capital One hotel and vacation rental travel credit, plus 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months.
As you earn at least 2 miles per dollar everywhere, you’ll have at least 83,000 miles after spending $4,000 in 3 monthsm plus the $300 credit. 83K miles can be used for $830 of travel, dining, or gift cards. Or it can be transferred into 83K airline miles where they can be worth much more!
The $300 hotel and vacation rental credit will be applied to your account within two billing cycles and will expire after 12 months. The credit will be available within Capital One Travel and can be applied to hotel and vacation rental purchases at checkout. The credit may be used in whole for a single purchase or in part over multiple purchases. If the purchase using the credit is canceled, the credit will be restored if it is not expired.
It’s worth noting that Capital One has an excellent price match guarantee for travel within 24 hours of booking. You will get a credit for the price difference, and best of all, the credit doesn’t expire!
There is a $95 annual fee for the primary card and no annual fee for additional cardholders.
You’ll need to spend $4,000 on this card within 3 months.
You can pay your federal taxes for a 1.75% fee. If you overpay your taxes you can request a refund or apply it to your next year’s taxes.
My local natural gas company allows me to prepay up to $1,000 on a credit card for a $1.65 flat fee. That’s a great way to earn miles and help meet a spend threshold. My electricity supplier allows me to pay with a credit card for free as long as I am enrolled in autopay.
You can redeem your points to pay yourself back for any travel related expenses (airfare, hotels, car rentals, cruises, ride sharing, etc) or book new travel at a value of 1 cent per point.
It costs $78 to apply for a 5 year TSA Pre-Check membership which makes flying pleasant again. Shorter lines, no need to remove your shoes, belt, jacket, or hat. You can keep your laptop and small liquids inside your carry-on. And you go through a good old fashioned metal detector instead of assuming the position in the body scanner. If you charge it on your card the fee will be refunded.
It costs $120 to apply for a 5 year Global Entry membership which lets you bypass the customs line. If you have Global Entry you also get TSA Pre-Check for free. Members can also apply for Global Entry/PreCheck for all of their kids under 18 for free!
If you charge it on your card the fee will be refunded. You can get refunded for this charge once every 4 years.
You can read more more about the differences in this post.
My whole family has Global Entry and it sure makes traveling a whole lot easier!
Primary and additional cardholders get free Hertz Five Star elite status. Benefits include skip the counter and e-return, 25% bonus points, space available upgrades, wider ultimate choice availability, and more!
Capital One cardholders have access to exclusive tickets to special events such as All-Star Week, the MLB Postseason, and the World Series presented by Capital One.
Plus, you can redeem just 5,000 miles (or $40 cash back) for ultra-premium MLB seats in every ballpark, for every game. There are 4 tickets available for every game at that rate. The best time to buy is when each month’s games go live, which are posted here.
I have gone to games with amazing seats in NYC, DC, LA, Anaheim, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Dallas, Houston, Pittsburgh, San Diego, and San Francisco, and hope to go to many more to complete my 30 ballpark tour using my Capital One miles at an excellent value!
Getting $200 seats for 5,000 miles is a great deal!
Capital One doesn’t have regular product change options like most banks, but you may be able to change between the no annual fee Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card, the $95/year Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and the $395/year Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, but you won’t get a signup bonus for upgrading from VentureOne or Venture to Venture X.
Even if you aren’t eligible for a product change, you can always close a card for at least a month after an annual fee is billed, to get a refund of the fee.
The $95/year Capital One Venture Card and the $395/year Capital One Venture Rewards X Credit Card offer 75,000 points for spending $4,000 in 3 months, though only the Venture card has the current limited time offer. Both these cards offer 2 miles per dollar everywhere and the ability to transfer points into airline miles and hotel points. The Venture X adds a $300 annual travel credit, a 10K mile annual anniversary bonus, lounge access, elite status, Global Entry/PreCheck, and more.
Add the no annual fee Capital One SavorOne Cash Rewards Credit Card and earn you’ll earn 3% back or 3 miles per dollar on groceries, dining, entertainment and streaming and 8% back on Capital One Entertainment purchases!
You can transfer miles from Capital One into these programs at the following ratios:
A nice perk is that after the 1,000 mile minimum transfer, you only need to transfer miles in increments of 100, meaning you have fewer leftover miles compared to other bank transfers.
This is an excellent limited time offer on a powerful credit card.
The card will earn 2 miles per dollar everywhere, and they can be transferred into airline miles or used to reimburse any paid travel. Combined with no foreign transaction fees, this is an excellent card!
Best of all, you don’t need a 2-card combo to earn a lot of points and transfer them into miles, this card will do it all with a low fee!
Will you signup for the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card?

I first tried Donna Bee Honey in 2023 based on glowing reviews from the DansDeals Forums.
I loved it! After talking to the owner for 2 years about getting a discount for our readers, we finally got one last Rosh Hashana, and I’m happy to say that it’s back again this year!
One very unique part of what Donna does is that their bees pollinate with specific types of flowers, which affect the taste of the honey. I’d recommend trying the Blueberry and Raspberry varieties, and try to taste the differences! Once a variety sells out, it won’t be available until next year’s harvest!

Update, 9/7/26: Israir is now selling flights between Tel Aviv and JFK. Service will begin from Tel Aviv to JFK on 9/16 at 12:30am, arriving at 5:40am. The inaugural flight is selling for $823 in coach, $1,823 in premium, and $3,023 in business one-way.
The inaugural return flight from JFK to Tel Aviv departs on 9/17 at 2:30pm, arriving at 8:45am the next day.
These flights are not yet available on Google Flights or from most online travel agencies.
Currently, only limited flights are available for the holiday season over the next few weeks. Service will ramp up by the end of October.
In coach, 1 small carry-on, 1 rollerboard (up to 22 pounds), and 1 checked bag (up to 50 pounds) are included. In premium, 1 small carry-on, 1 rollerboard (up to 22 pounds), and 2 checked bags (up to 50 pounds) are included. In business, 1 small carry-on, 2 rollerboards (up to 22 pounds), and 2 checked bags (up to 70 pounds) are included.
Update, 8/26/26: Israir CEO Uri Sirkis shared a number of interesting tidbits with Channel 13 news:
Will you fly Israir between Tel Aviv and JFK?
Update, 8/24/26: Israir has received FAA approval to launch Tel Aviv-JFK flights! The previously targeted launch date was October 19th, but I’d expect a sooner launch date for the airline to take advantage of Tishrei peak season holiday traffic.
Barring unforeseen developments, Delta is scheduled to resume JFK-Tel Aviv service on September 6th, and United is scheduled to resume Newark-Tel Aviv service on September 8th, bringing more much-needed competition to the route, which is currently only served by Arkia and El Al.
Along with the Israir launch, that would mean a record 5 carriers operating nonstop flights between NYC and Tel Aviv.
Update, 8/18/26: Israir is still awaiting FAA approval to launch the flight. While the airline was hoping to launch flights last month, it is now targeting October 19th, but it can start sooner if the FAA gives the green light.
The flight will be operated by 2 former USAirways/American A330-200s purchased by Israir. 4X-BAL and 4X-BAK were delivered to USAirways in March 2010. American retired these planes prematurely during COVID. Those planes had 247 seats consisting of 20 reverse herringbone business class seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, 21 premium economy seats, 50 economy extra legroom seats, and 156 economy seats.
We flew this plane type in business class on USAirways from Paris to Philadelphia in December 2012 and on American from Tel Aviv to Philadelphia in March 2015 and very much enjoyed the seats.
Update, 4/23/26: Globes is reporting that Israir expects to launch JFK-Tel Aviv service by the end of July! Economy fares are expected to be around $1,400-$1,500 round-trip, and Israir will sell Premium Economy and Business class seats as well.
With US airlines not planning on resuming Tel Aviv service until at least September, this should provide some much needed capacity in the market!
Update, 7/16/25: Globes is reporting that Israir is looking for an A330 to dry lease to operate the route, which will start in time for Pesach 2026 or earlier.
Arkia wet leases planes for the route, meaning that a foreign carrier staffs the flight with pilots and flight attendants, and Arkia sells the flights and provides minimal staffing with Hebrew speakers onboard.
With a dry lease, Israir would fully staff the plane and could operate during high-tension times, when Arkia was unable to fly nonstop between Israel and the US.
Globes also reports that Israir lost $14.8 million when it flew scheduled flights between JFK and Tel Aviv from 2006-2008. There will be even more competition this time around, so it remains to be seen if this service will be sustainable.
Update, 7/15/25: The DOT has provided final approval for Israir to resume service between the US and Israel. No objections were received after the DOT gave tentative approval in April. The airline also received a license from Israel to operate the route.
Israir does not have any widebody planes that can fly between the US and Tel Aviv, so similar to Arkia, it will likely locate a wet lease operator to fly the route. That has mostly worked out well for Arkia, though they have had to add a technical stop in Europe several times when tensions were high.
Expect Israir service to launch up to 6 weekly flights between JFK and Tel Aviv in Spring 2026 and for it to create downward pressure on US-Israel airfare.
United will return to Israel next week and Delta tentatively plans on returning to Israel in September. The only question are, when will American return to Israel and will the route be able to sustain an incredible 6 carriers? It’s extremely rare to see that level of competition on a route!
Originally posted on 4/21/25:
Until recently, El Al had a virtual monopoly on nonstop flights between the US and Israel that dated back to 10/7/23, except for some periods of time last year when Delta and United tried to compete before pulling out.
Arkia entered the JFK-Tel Aviv market in February and is doing well on the route. Its flights are currently operated by an Iberojet all-economy A330-900neo and they will switch to a GullivAir A330-200 on May 14th featuring lie-flat direct aisle access business class seats and extra legroom seating.
United resumed flying twice daily between Newark and Tel Aviv last month, and Delta resumed its daily flights between JFK and Tel Aviv earlier this month.
And now, the DOT has given tentative approval for Israir to resume flying between JFK and Tel Aviv.
Israir last operated service between the US and Israel in 2008.
As with Arkia, Israir lacks widebody planes, so they will have to contract the service to a wet leasing operator. That will take time to arrange, and there are conflicting reports on when service might launch.
Even if American fails to resume its JFK-Tel Aviv service, that would mean a record 5 airlines will compete on the lucrative nonstop NYC-Tel Aviv route once Israir launches service. If American also resumes service, it would be an incredible six airlines that would compete on the route. There are very few routes in the world with that kind of competition. Hopefully, that will translate into cheaper flights!
For now though, United has yet to resume service between Chicago, San Francisco, and Washington DC to Tel Aviv, Delta has yet to resume Atlanta or Boston to Tel Aviv, and American remains hopelessly on the sidelines. It will take the resumption of those flights to really drive down the cost of nonstop service between the US and the Holy Land.
Are you planning to travel between the US and Israel this year?

Help Complete the Mikvah In Kiryat Gat
There are at least three thousand families waiting for taharah, but the door to their mikvah is locked.
Kiryat Gat is one of the fastest-growing cities in Eretz Yisroel with over seventy thousand residents to date. In the Neviim and Haprachim neighborhoods, Yidden of all backgrounds and levels of frumkeit are arriving month after month and many are ready to keep taharah. But a local mikvah is crumbling and unusable.
We’re rebuilding it into the beautiful, dignified, welcoming place it was always meant to be and are $670,000 away from rebuilding it. With funding, Mikvah Kiryat Gat can open its doors in the next few months.
For anyone who partners in this special project, the Gedolei Hador will visit the kevarim of their own rabbeim, tzadikim who once led Merkaz L’Taharas HaMishpacha themselves, and daven there during Aseres Yemei Teshuva.
Give taharah = $219 ($18.25/mo) today.
Open the door of taharah for thousands and enter the new year with the tefillos of the Gedolei Hador behind you.
“We’re not renovating a building. We’re saving neshamos.”
— Rabbi Shlomo Spadag shlit”a, Chairman of the Kiryat Gat Religious Council
For 85 years, Merkaz L’Taharas HaMishpacha has built and restored 1,162 mikvaos across Eretz Yisroel, under the guidance of Gedolei Hador. This year alone, 32 more are underway.

Paze’s spend $10, get $10 back promotion ends on 9/10. Every $10+ purchase paid with Paze checkout earns a $10 statement credit, up to 10 times per card, plus there’s no limit on how many cards can earn it.
Tefillin Connection, the 501(c)(3) behind the DansDeals tefillin campaign, now accepts Paze. That means a $10 donation comes back to you as a $10 credit from Paze, and you can repeat it up to 10 times on every eligible card you have.
100% of every dollar goes towards supplying tefillin to men who can’t afford their own pair and commit to wrapping daily. Since 10/7, this campaign has put more than 3,500 pairs of tefillin on the arms of IDF soldiers and civilians around the world.
The Paze checkout on the donation page shows the promo banner, “Spend $10, get $10 back, up to 10 times. $10 issued as a statement credit,” which shows this is eligible:

Note that Clover, the payment processor, will often error out after about 6 payments in a row per card. You can switch to a different card, and then the previous card/s will work again after 1-2 days, so keep coming back and keep going until 9/10.
Paze says the credit posts within 2 billing cycles. Credits from this promotion have been posting on my cards within days, but some readers have waited weeks, so don’t panic if it isn’t there tomorrow.
Eligible Chase cards also earn 10 bonus points per dollar on Paze checkout through December, on top of the credit.
You’ll get an emailed receipt from Tefillin Connection after every donation with the 501(c)(3) acknowledgment. Because Paze may reimburse you $10, ask your accountant how that affects your deduction.

Some of these are business cards, but you may already have a business that needs a card to keep track of expenses.
Which cards will you apply for?

Update: JetBlue confirms with DansDeals that special meals, including kosher meals, will be available to order in BlueFirst class on all flights with meal service, which are all flights that are at least 899+ miles in distance. Special meals must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance of the flight.
That puts JetBlue’s domestic first class kosher meal policy roughly on par with American and Delta, and much better than United, which requires flights to be at least 2,000 miles in distance in order to order special meals.
Note that there are no ovens on BlueFirst planes, so food will not be warmed up. You may want to travel with a HotLogic…
BlueFirst goes on sale later this year. Will you be trying it out?
Originally posted on 9/1:
JetBlue finally unveiled its long-awaited BlueFirst domestic first class product today. It will launch later this year and roll out fleetwide by 2028.
A220s and A320s will get 12 BlueFirst seats and A321s will get 16 BlueFirst seats with a 36-37″ seat pitch in a 2-2 configuration.
The seat will have built-in Tuft & Needle’s T&N Flex foam, though I’m dubious about how that will hold up in the long-term. On overnight flights, a blanket and snooze kit will be offered.
You’ll be able to order snacks, drinks, or even create your own cocktail from the 13.3″ in-flight entertainment system, which will feature built-in Bluetooth.
JetBlue will not be adding ovens, so it will offer uncompetitive cold meals, putting it at a pretty big disadvantage compared to American, Delta, and United.
Bento boxes will be offered on flights that are 899 miles or longer. For example, JFK to Orlando clocks in at 944 miles, so it would qualify, while JFK to Chicago clocks in at 740 miles and would not qualify.
We asked about kosher meal availability in BlueFirst, but JetBlue has not yet responded. This post will be updated if the airline responds to our inquiry.
BlueFirst will include Group 1 boarding, dedicated overhead bin space, priority check-in, and access to expedited security lines.
BlueFirst and BlueFirst Flex fares have no change or cancel fees, two free checked bags, and priority baggage, while BlueFirst Base fares will not have those inclusions.
JetBlue has yet to announce how BlueFirst upgrades will work for Mosaic members.
BlueFirst does not include BlueHouse lounge access. You can read about lounge access rules and cost here.
JetBlue won’t be reducing the plane’s capacity to make room for the first class seats. Instead, EvenMore space seats will be removed on some planes, and economy seating will drop from about an industry-leading 32″-34″ pitch to a 30″ pitch.
AA, Delta, and United typically have a 30-31″ pitch in the back of the plane, so JetBlue won’t be much worse off than them, but it will feel much more crowded than it does today.
Allegiant and Frontier have a typically punishing 28″ pitch, so JetBlue will still be more comfortable than those airlines.
Sadly, JetBlue won’t be joining North American carriers like Air Canada, Alaska, American, Frontier, Hawaiian, JSX, Southwest, United, and WestJet in adding high-bandwidth Starlink internet to their fleet. Instead, they will join Delta in rolling the dice on Amazon Leo, which has yet to launch.
There’s nothing revolutionary about this first class cabin, but it’s definitely the right financial move for JetBlue, as more and more passengers are paying for first-class seats. At the same time, it’s sad news for JetBlue fans who currently enjoy the extra legroom in the back of the plane and for the loss of some rows of EvenMore seats on some planes. Then again, JetBlue isn’t commanding a price premium for offering that extra legroom in the back, so it’s not a big surprise to see it discontinued in favor of first class seating.
What do you think of the addition of a first class cabin on all JetBlue planes?

United’s app is easily the best in the industry. You can do everything from book an award ticket, check where your inbound plane is coming from, see how many minutes it will take to get to your connecting gate, check on TSA waiting times, track your bags, or even check how many people have already boarded your flight.
It’s also very good at stating the reason for delayed flights and when the airline expects further updates to be made available.
And now, if your flight is delayed or canceled, you can use the app to put yourself on the standby list for up to 3 alternate flights. United will monitor the seats on those flights, and you’ll be notified if seats become available so that you can decide which flight you want to take. That’s awesome!
Now, if we could see not only where the plane is coming from, but also where the crew is coming from, that would allow for truly informed decisions on which flight to take in case of irregular operations.
What features do you hope to see added to the United app?
