As previously reported, the Vizhnitzer Rebbe shlit”a is preparing to lead a special nesia to Eretz Yisroel together with hundreds of chassidim and yeshiva talmidim. While news of the trip itself has been known for some time, excitement is now mounting around what is expected to be the central highlight of the journey: a historic Shabbos in Meron.

Extensive preparations are underway for the historic Vizhnitz Shabbos in Meron, where the Rebbe shlit”a is expected to spend Shabbos together with hundreds of chassidim and yeshiva talmidim during the upcoming nesia to Eretz Yisroel. The trip fulfills the Rebbe’s commitment to outstanding talmidim who excelled in their learning and earned the privilege of joining the special journey.

In recent days and weeks, a series of meetings and on-site inspections have been held in Meron as askanim work to coordinate the many logistical details involved in hosting such a large gathering. Teams overseeing the project have been visiting various locations, reviewing accommodations, transportation plans, tefillah arrangements, facilities for the Rebbe’s tishen, and other essential aspects of the Shabbos.

With anticipation growing among chassidim on both sides of the ocean, organizers are continuing their efforts to ensure that the historic Shabbos in Meron will be conducted in a dignified and orderly manner, befitting the significance of the occasion.
