A vehicle crashed into a utility pole at the intersection of Route 59 and Orange Avenue in Suffern at approximately 2:20 a.m. Sunday, snapping the pole in half and bringing live wires down onto the roadway.

Suffern Police, Suffern Fire Department, and Faist EMS responded to the scene. Minor injuries were reported.

Orange & Rockland Utilities was requested to the scene to repair the damaged pole and address the downed wires.
