NYS Senator Bill Weber Launches 2026 Five Towns of Rockland Blood Drive Challenge
NYS Senator Bill Weber is once again partnering with the New York Blood Center to host the Five Towns of Rockland Blood Drive Challenge 2026, encouraging residents across Rockland County to donate blood and help save lives while taking part in a friendly competition between the county’s five towns.
The weeklong challenge will run Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, with a blood drive taking place in a different town each day. The schedule includes Clarkstown on July 27, Stony Point on July 28, Haverstraw on July 29, Orangetown on July 30, and Ramapo on July 31.
Communities will compete in two categories: the most units of blood collected and the highest number of newly registered New York Blood Center donors. Senator Weber is encouraging residents throughout Rockland County to participate, noting that every donation can help save lives while giving their hometown a chance to earn the title of challenge winner.
Residents interested in participating can register by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or by contacting Senator Weber’s district office.
