The IDF announced Monday that it eliminated a Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist who led the abduction of Inbar Haiman during the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led massacre.
According to the military, Taher Ahmad Salem Abd al-Wahed was killed in an airstrike Friday in central Gaza. The IDF said he infiltrated the Nova music festival during the October 7 attack and commanded the abduction of Haiman.
Haiman, 27, of Haifa, was murdered after being captured while fleeing the Supernova music festival. Her body was taken to Gaza by terrorists and was returned to Israel by Hamas in October 2025.
In a separate strike, the IDF said it eliminated another Islamic Jihad terrorist, Salah Subhi Salah Qatrawi, who had worked to carry out attacks against Israeli troops near Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid distribution sites.
The military said both terrorists had recently been advancing imminent attacks against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, prompting the strikes.
