CENTCOM assets targeted Iranian military operations centers, maritime capabilities, aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities, and military logistics infrastructure to further degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz

- According to Israeli estimates, the Iranian leadership believes there is no need to compromise, assuming that Trump will back down and allow it to maintain its control over the Strait of Hormuz

- WSJ: The US, Israel and Lebanon are exploring several options for dismantling Hezbollah. One proposal is for the US to train, equip, and supervise elite units of the Lebanese army, which would gradually replace Israeli forces in southern Lebanon and eventually try to dismantle Hezbollah, if necessary. Other options include Syria's help in blocking Hezbollah's supply routes, or relying on continued Israeli military operations to weaken the organization.

- The Assessment in Israel: Trump will significantly escalate the attacks. Attacking Iranian infrastructure sites and senior officials will lead Iran to fire on Israel. Netanyahu convened a 6-hour security consultation, during which he spoke with SOS Rubio

- Trump announces the US military will be striking Iran's Pickaxe Mountain nuclear facility, where Iran stores the nuclear centrifuges that were moved from other sites. "Normally I wouldn't say that...we'll be hitting that area pretty soon, very heavily, and there's not a thing they can do about it."

- Trump says Iran wants to "desperately meet." He adds that until Iran is willing to meet in a meaningful way, "we have no interest."

- President Donald Trump downplays concerns regarding a potential Houthi blockade of the Red Sea, saying that if it does happen the U.S. military will be forced to take action. - Iranian Communications Minister Sattar Hashemi said that the US strikes in southern Iran have damaged mainland Iran's communications infrastructure with the Qashqai and Kharag islands in the Strait of Hormuz. He said that fiber optic infrastructure was attacked in parts of southern Iran, forcing authorities to use radio and satellite infrastructure to maintain communication continuity temporarily

- Air India extends the suspension of its flight services to and from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport through September 30 amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.

- Lebanese army troops began deploying in the southern Lebanese town of Zawtar al-Gharbiyeh this morning after Israeli forces withdrew from the area, the Lebanese Armed Forces says in a statement, in line with a US-brokered plan for “pilot zones” in the south.
