🚨TRUMP DRAWS A RED LINE: Every Iranian Attack In Hormuz Will Cost Tehran A Bridge Or Power Plant
President Donald Trump dramatically escalated his warnings to Iran on Wednesday, declaring that the United States will destroy one Iranian bridge or power plant every time Tehran attacks a commercial vessel in the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.
In a strongly worded post on Truth Social, Trump announced what amounts to a new U.S. retaliation policy aimed at deterring further Iranian attacks on international shipping.
“From this point forward, any time the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT, including those located next to, or in, the Capital City of Tehran,” Trump wrote.
The extraordinary warning marks another significant escalation in the confrontation between Washington and Tehran, coming after the United States completed its 11th consecutive night of airstrikes against Iranian military targets. Those strikes have largely focused on degrading Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical maritime chokepoints through which roughly one-fifth of the global oil supply passes.
Trump’s latest threat also follows his warning Tuesday that the United States could strike Iran’s heavily fortified “Pickaxe Mountain” nuclear facility, where intelligence reports indicate Tehran may be expanding its nuclear program.
The warning comes as Iran has continued launching missiles and drones toward regional targets, raising fears that the conflict could widen further in the coming days.
