VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Eligible Olim Urged to Complete Aliyah Before September 3

Jul 22, 2026·1 min read

Israel’s next Knesset election has officially been set for Tuesday, October 27, 2026. Anyone wishing to vote must be included in the Pinkas HaBochrim, Israel’s voter registry, which is scheduled to close on September 3.

Eligible individuals hoping to participate in the election are therefore being urged to complete the Aliyah process as soon as possible to improve their chances of being added to the registry before the deadline.

For those already living in Israel, Chaim V’Chessed says it was informed by Nefesh B’Nefesh that the Guided Aliyah program has been expanded and is prepared to make every effort to assist eligible applicants seeking to complete their Aliyah within the limited timeframe.

The Guided Aliyah program is designed to simplify and streamline the process for individuals already residing in Israel, allowing them to complete the necessary steps toward Israeli citizenship without leaving the country.

While no specific processing time can be guaranteed, the window before the voter registry closes is short. Those interested in making Aliyah and becoming eligible to vote in the upcoming election are encouraged to contact Nefesh B’Nefesh immediately to begin the process.
