Construction is now underway on the new Sadovna Bais Medrash in Monsey, following a cornerstone-laying ceremony held last week for what is expected to become a new center of Torah and tefillah in the Spring Valley area.

The new bais medrash is being established under the leadership of Harav Elisha Sekula shlit"a, Rav of Sadovna Monsey. Rav Sekula is the son of Harav Yitzchok Yaakov Sekula zt"l, the Sadovna Rav, and a son-in-law of the Strizhover Rebbe shlit"a. For many years, he has served as a respected maggid shiur at Yeshivas Karlin-Stolin in Boro Park and is expected to relocate to Monsey in the near future to lead the growing kehillah.

The new complex is being built near the intersection of South Madison Avenue and South Central Avenue in Spring Valley, serving the rapidly expanding neighborhood.

Following the recent ma'amad hanachas even hapinah, construction has already begun on the site. Plans for the new building include a spacious main sanctuary, an elegant mikvah, additional shtieblach for daily tefillos, along with other facilities designed to serve the needs of the community.
