The Village of Chestnut Ridge has announced the next phase of its summer road resurfacing program, with milling work scheduled to begin Monday, July 27, followed by paving the following week.

According to the schedule released by the village:

* Jacqueline Road and Madeline Terrace will be milled on Monday, July 27, with paving beginning Monday, August 3.

* Laurel Lane and portions of Scotland Road will be milled on Tuesday, July 28, with paving beginning Tuesday, August 4.

Officials noted that work may continue into the following day if needed and that the schedule could change depending on weather conditions or construction progress.

No full road closures are currently planned. However, motorists should expect brief alternating lane closures and traffic delays, particularly along Scotland Road, while crews complete the work.

Residents are encouraged to use caution in work zones and allow extra travel time during the construction period.
