7 Arabs Arrested After Assaulting Israeli Near Beitar Illit; Assault Weapons And Incendiary Materials Found
A serious violent incident took place over Shabbos near Morano Farm in the Beitar Illit area, when seven Arabs attacked an Israeli civilian. Searches of the area uncovered additional assault weapons and incendiary materials.
IDF soldiers and the security coordinator of Sde Boaz, who were the first to arrive at the scene, acted quickly to apprehend the suspects. Police officers from the Etzion station in the Judea District later took custody of the seven Palestinian suspects and launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
A preliminary investigation found that the Arabs entered the farm’s grounds, where a confrontation developed between the two sides. During the altercation, one of the Israelis was struck with a club, sustaining minor injuries to his arm. IDF forces and the local security coordinator arrested the suspects, who were then transferred to police custody for questioning.
During searches of the area, security forces found assault weapons and incendiary materials hidden among nearby bushes. The items were seized as part of the investigation, raising concerns that the suspects had arrived at the location prepared in advance for a violent confrontation.

The suspects were taken to the police station for questioning and subsequently remanded in custody. Police said they intend to request an extension of their detention in court, depending on the progress and findings of the investigation.
