Opening Sunday’s Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he will travel to Washington tomorrow at President Trump’s invitation for talks on Iran and the other major issues currently on the agenda.

Following the meeting, Netanyahu is scheduled to attend the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham, whom he described as one of Israel’s greatest friends since the establishment of the state.

Addressing the security situation in Judea and Samaria following the weekend shooting attack, Netanyahu said Israeli forces were instructed to enter villages, conduct searches, seize weapons and make arrests. Two suspected accomplices were arrested inside a hospital in Shechem, while the terrorist’s home was sealed ahead of demolition.

The homes of additional suspected accomplices were also mapped ahead of possible action, and Israel is prepared to launch broader operations against terrorist strongholds if necessary.

Netanyahu also welcomed the decision by a large majority of countries to remove the International Criminal Court’s chief prosecutor. He accused the prosecutor of advancing arrest warrants against him and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in an effort to deflect attention from allegations of serious misconduct involving women who worked for him.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio reaffirmed during a conversation Saturday night that the United States intends to act forcefully against the ICC. Netanyahu accused the court of threatening justice, national sovereignty and the ability of democratic states to protect their own security.
