GIANT DEAL: Israeli Cyber Unicorn Cyera To Acquire Oasis Security In $1 Billion Deal
Israeli cybersecurity unicorn Cyera has signed a letter of intent to acquire fellow Israeli startup Oasis Security in a deal valued at approximately $1 billion, marking one of the largest cybersecurity acquisitions of the year.
Under the proposed agreement, roughly $700 million will be paid in cash, with the remainder in Cyera stock. The deal comes shortly after Cyera raised $600 million at a $12 billion valuation.
Founded in 2022 by CEO Danny Brickman and Chief Product Officer Amit Zimmerman, both veterans of Israel’s elite Unit 81, Oasis specializes in securing non-human identities—such as service accounts, API keys, tokens, and AI agents—an area that has become increasingly important as organizations rapidly adopt artificial intelligence.
Oasis has raised $195 million to date, including a funding round in March that valued the company at $700 million. Following the acquisition, Oasis will continue operating as a dedicated business unit within Cyera while integrating its technology with Cyera’s data security platform.
The companies say the combination will strengthen their ability to protect organizations from emerging AI-driven cybersecurity threats.
