A new Skver shtiebel opened this past Shabbos in the Nanuet area near New City, providing a dedicated place for local Skver chasidim to daven and gather together.
The shul was established with the encouragement and bracha of the Skverer Rebbe Shlita after several Skver families moved into the neighborhood. Nanuet has recently attracted a growing number of frum families seeking more affordable housing and other benefits while remaining close to Monsey.
The opening marks the ninth Skver shtiebel serving families across the broader Monsey region.
In recent weeks, local Skver Chasidim have begun gathering regularly for chaburas, and the need for a dedicated shtiebel in the neighborhood became increasingly clear.
The shul is currently operating only for the shabbos teffilos, with the first Shabbos tefillos held last Friday night, Parshas Va’eschanan, Shabbos Nachamu.
