A box truck crashed into a utility pole on Route 59 in front of Walmart after the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, stripping away part of the truck's side wall in the impact.

Tallman Fire Department, Suffern Fire Department, Faist EMS, and Ramapo Police responded to the scene. The driver was evaluated by emergency personnel, and authorities are investigating what caused the crash. Traffic in the area was impacted while crews worked to secure the scene and remove the damaged truck.
