Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi terrorists participated in attacks against Saudi Arabia launched from Iraqi territory in coordination with Iran-aligned armed groups in Iraq, according to Reuters, citing Saudi assessments and two regional officials.

The officials said some of the missiles fired toward Saudi Arabia from Iraq were launched jointly by Iraqi groups and Houthi terrorists under the supervision of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Saudi Arabia has publicly blamed Iran-aligned Iraqi groups for the attacks, while the Houthis have separately claimed responsibility for carrying out strikes. Iraqi authorities have said they are investigating the launches.

The reported coordination suggests that Iran-backed groups across the region are strengthening their operational ties and expanding their ability to target Saudi Arabia and other U.S. allies.
