JERUSALEM, Israel (July 30, 2026) — International mediators and diplomatic officials in the Middle East have outlined a structured implementation roadmap for the second phase of regional security agreements, designed to transition governance and oversee demilitarization across the Gaza Strip.

The comprehensive framework establishes parameters for transferring physical control and authority over military hardware to a designated administrative body. Under the negotiated provisions, all categories of weaponry, ranging from light armaments to heavy munitions and production infrastructure, are slated to be surrendered and decommissioned under international supervision.

The roadmap stipulates that administrative and security oversight will shift toward an independent administrative committee, backed by multinational monitoring teams. However, the emerging arrangement has drawn sharp criticism from senior figures within the Israeli government.
