
CHESTNUT RIDGE, NY. Assemblyman Aron Wieder met recently with leading Rabbonim of Chestnut Ridge, joined by Deputy Mayor Chaim Rose and Village Trustee Shmuli Fromovitz.
The meeting included Rabbi Langer of Khal Zichron Yaakov, Rabbi Greenwald of Khal Dexter Park, and Rabbi Neiman of Kehillas Shaarei Halacha.
Assemblyman Wieder shared an update on his work in Albany on behalf of all residents of his district. He highlighted the extensive constituent services provided by his office, which has successfully handled over 1600 cases in the last 18 months.
The Assemblyman also discussed recent bills he has successfully advanced. A number of concerns facing residents of the Village were raised, along with how they can best be addressed.
Village concerns discussed during the meeting included traffic and road safety, as well as the need for continued improvements to local infrastructure. The participants also stressed the importance of preserving the unique quality of life and semi-rural character that have long defined Chestnut Ridge.
The Rabbonim thanked Assemblyman Wieder for his dedicated service and for his ongoing attention to the needs of the Chestnut Ridge residents.
