National Night Out events are are currently underway across Ocean and Monmouth Counties, with communities including Jackson, Brick, and Howell hosting events.
In Jackson, the event is taking place now through 9 p.m. at Johnson Park. Families can meet local police officers and first responders, explore police vehicles and equipment, and enjoy a variety of activities for all ages.
Similar events are also taking place in Brick, and Howell, featuring emergency vehicles, demonstrations, children’s activities, giveaways, and opportunities for residents to interact with police officers and other public safety personnel in a relaxed setting.
Held annually in thousands of communities nationwide, National Night Out is designed to strengthen partnerships between law enforcement and the public while promoting safer, stronger neighborhoods.
