Controversial Pro-Hamas left-wing streamer Hasan Piker was spotted at Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed’s election night victory party following Tuesday’s primary.

Piker has drawn years of controversy over remarks including his 2019 statement that “America deserved 9/11,” comments he later said were imprecise and intended as criticism of U.S. foreign policy. He has also faced repeated criticism for statements about Israel and Hamas.

Piker has openly described himself as a socialist and has said that communism is the “final goal” of socialism, views that have made him one of the most polarizing political influencers on the American left.
