For more than 50 years, Project SEED has been transforming Jewish communities across North America by bringing the beauty, warmth, and sweetness of Torah to thousands of Jewish families. Each summer, hundreds of yeshiva bochurim, seminary students, kollel couples, and educators travel to 63 communities across the United States and beyond, inspiring adults and children alike through Torah learning, day camps, recreational programs, and meaningful personal relationships.

Beyond its impact on the communities it serves, Project SEED has also become one of Torah Umesorah’s greatest incubators for future Torah leadership. Generations of Project SEED alumni have gone on to become rabbanim, roshei kollelim, principals, mechanchim, mechanchos, and community leaders, often pointing to their summers in SEED as the first time they experienced the profound privilege and lifelong fulfillment of inspiring another Yiddishe neshamah. In this way, Project SEED has not only planted seeds of Torah in communities across North America—it has also planted the seeds of the next generation of Torah educators and builders.

While the summer program is the cornerstone of Project SEED’s outreach, its mission does not end when Bein Hazemanim is over.

This week, Project SEED launched a special two-day Chizuk Tour designed to strengthen and encourage communities that have been impacted by decades of Project SEED programming. The unique initiative brings together accomplished Bnei Torah—many of them Project SEED alumni themselves—who are returning to the very communities where they once spent summers teaching and inspiring.

The goal is to demonstrate that Torah growth continues long after the summer ends. Community members not only reconnect with yeshiva bochurim during the summer months, but now also have the opportunity to meet successful baalei batim who have built lives centered around Torah while balancing careers, families, and community leadership.

The first stop on the tour is Jacksonville, Florida, where the local Torah community continues to experience remarkable growth. The city recently welcomed four additional yungerlite to its kollel, further strengthening its expanding network of Torah learning and communal life.

Participants on the Chizuk Tour include Harav Shalom Kamenetsky, shlit”a, whose divrei chizuk are expected to inspire audiences throughout the trip, together with renowned singer Joey Newcomb, whose uplifting kumzitz and music help create an atmosphere of warmth, achdus, and inspiration.

Following Jacksonville, the tour will continue to Miami, Houston, and Columbus, bringing Torah inspiration and encouragement to each community along the way.
