The Rachmastrivka Ohel at Har Shalom Cemetery in Airmont is closed to visitors today as construction is underway at the site.

The closure was announced as crews carry out several improvements around the Ohel, including flooring work inside the structure.

A dedicated room for Kohanim is also being constructed as part of the ongoing project, allowing Kohanim to visit the tzion with the proper halachic requirements.

Crews are expected to work throughout the day as they continue the project inside the Ohel.

Once completed, the improvements will allow the Ohel to better accommodate visitors and provide a more suitable space for Kohanim, especially ahead of the Rebbe's Yartzeit coming week.
