A vulnerable 52-year-old woman who was reported missing Wednesday night after last being seen along the Palisades Interstate Parkway was located safely in Monsey following an extensive search involving multiple emergency agencies from both New York and New Jersey.

The search began after authorities received reports that the woman had gone missing along the parkway. Search teams quickly mobilized, with volunteers and law enforcement coordinating efforts across the area in an effort to locate her as quickly as possible.

Responding agencies included Chaverim of Rockland (SAR Team), Bergen County Chaverim (SAR), the Palisades Interstate Parkway Police, the Ramapo Police Department, and Hatzoloh of Rockland County. Search teams worked together for several hours as they searched the surrounding area.

The woman was ultimately found safely in Monsey later Wednesday night. Officials said she was receiving the appropriate care following the successful search.
