Pollster Shlomo Filber claimed Thursday that the political left is pursuing a strategy aimed at weakening the right-wing bloc by targeting the Chareidi public ahead of the upcoming elections.

Speaking in an interview with Galey Yisrael, he said, “The left is constantly trying to break up the right-wing bloc, and their latest effort is focused on the Chareidim.

“Their current mission is to suppress Chareidi voter turnout through a two-stage strategy: first, to create divisions within the Chareidi community and thereby discourage voting, and at the same time establish spoiler parties that will fail to cross the electoral threshold, simply to burn mandates.”

“This was created with a great deal of money and many Chareidi public relations professionals. It must also be said, unfortunately, that there are many collaborators within the Chareidi public who, for money from the left, are harming their own camp.”

Filber added that “as part of this effort, the latest project in the polls is to reduce Shas to six seats.”
