The new right-wing parties recently formed by Gilad Erdan and Yuli Edelstein and Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel fail to cross the electoral threshold, Kan News reported on Sunday evening, citing a poll conducted by the Kantar Institute.

The poll shows the Likud and Yashar, led by Gadi Eisenkot, tied at 23 seats each. Yair Golan’s Democrats party and Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu party secure 10 seats each, while Otzma Yehudit, UTJ and Shas receive eight seats each.

The Ra’am Party secures six seats, and the Religious Zionist party and Hadash-Ta’el each take five seats.

As for suitability for prime minister, Netanyahu continues to lead Bennett by 41% to 31%, virtually unchanged from the previous poll. Netanyahu, however, widened his lead over Eisenkot from four percentage points in the previous poll to seven, with 41% saying Netanyahu is more suitable to serve as prime minister compared with 34% for Eisenkot.

In a head-to-head matchup between Bennett and Eisenkot, the Yashar chairman leads with 31%, compared with 20% for Bennett. The 11-point gap is half the 22-point margin between the two candidates in last week’s poll.
