
Ramapo Police officers responded to 472 calls for service over the weekend, resulting in 10 arrests, according to a weekend activity report released by the department.
Among those arrested were four individuals on DWI/DWAI charges, including one person charged with aggravated DWI after allegedly registering a blood alcohol concentration of .26%. Another arrest involved allegations of driving while impaired by drugs.
Police also made three arrests for aggravated unlicensed operation, while another individual was arrested for allegedly operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.
One person was charged with displaying an allegedly forged certificate of inspection, and another was taken into custody on an active warrant.
The report highlights the volume of incidents handled by Ramapo officers during the weekend as police continued patrol and enforcement efforts throughout the town.
All charges are allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
