Lakewood Police hosted its annual National Night Out on Tuesday evening at ShoreTown Ballpark, bringing together local residents, families, law enforcement and emergency service organizations for an evening of community engagement.

Lakewood Shomrim, Chaverim, Hatzolah and other emergency personnel joined the Lakewood Police Department at the event, giving residents an opportunity to meet and interact with those who serve the community.

The event, held in the ballpark parking lot, featured free rides, giveaways, food, live entertainment and a BMX stunt show, along with displays and activities for children and families.

National Night Out is held annually in communities across the country to strengthen relationships between law enforcement, emergency responders and the residents they serve.
