The Route 59 bridge reconstruction project over South Pascack Road is entering its final stretch, with crews making significant progress and the long-awaited reopening potentially just weeks away.

Crews were observed repaving portions of the roadway Thursday, another visible sign that the major reconstruction project is nearing completion.

According to sources familiar with the project, the bridge could possibly reopen in approximately two weeks, although an official reopening date has not yet been announced.
